Our quest to find the Best Talent for Exquisite Creations


As the saying goes “You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.” – Just as gorgeous jewellery designs need a creator. A creator which endeavours to make a women feel beautiful.

Every individual aspires to dream something momentous in life and for all those who have an inclination towards designing, now have the opportunity to make the most of their talent.

Sawansukha Jewellers, leading jewellery brand in Eastern India, has taken an initiative “Designer Ki Khoj”, the first of its kind designing contest. It was a platform for the aspiring young minds to showcase their talent.

Designer Ki  Khoj was a seven week programme which was all about facilitating aspiring talents and would be designers to make their dreams come true. It was an opportunity for all the budding designers to showcase their talent. The event was categorized into three- fashion, jewellery and lifestyle. But amidst this, the challenge was to create something new and different. The contest received an overwhelming response of 1600 entries out of which 45 contestants were shortlisted. They got an opportunity to meet the eminent personalities from the industry.


The panel of mentors from three different categories included:

Fashion: Abhishek Dutta, Jaya Misra, Heena Gorsia

Lifestyle: Neha Jalan, Dimple Bawri, Archana Lakhotia & Kavita Poddar

Jewellery: Siddharthaa Sawansukha, Rupchand Sawansukha, Vasundhara Mantri

Later, 27 contestants were filtered for the finale. Swagatam Samanta was crowned for the Jewellery, Neha More was crowned for the Fashion and Ankaan Sarkar was crowned for the Lifestyle category.

The seven week occasion was not just a competition, but it was vicinity for the young minds to showcase their creativity. Moreover, a platform to nurture, modify their skill set and bring out the best in them.
